If I get a 4channel amp that puts out 50w rms x 4 and my pioneer h.u. puts out 50x4 also,will I get 100w rms? ?

Or when I hook the amp up will it take over and il be getn 50 real watts rms as opposed to the maybe 25wx4 that the h.u. realy puts out? Tryin to power my 2 alpine type s 6x8s and 2 memphus 6x9s. Please help. Thanx
