Looking for a light to paint my plastic models under?

What kind of models? for a minis collection like Warhammer? Not an expert but figure that a decent low-watt bulb might be better, you know, less it more. I think it would have to be something that gives off enough light to see the details but low-light enough to not cause any glare.
