I'm buying the alpine type r's are they worth the money and bump and thump?

How much are you buying the Alpine subs for? If you're getting them for like $100 each and if they're in good shape I'd say stick to them. I wouldn't say you should get the the Alpine type X's, unless you really have the money. W6's are too expensive..
