Blew my speakers out, need GOOD quality speakers. Any help?

I love music. I'm about to get a kicker 12" sub but before i can hook it up, i'm guessing i need new speakers. The left speaker in the rear blew out...twice. I want to get a good quality sound system going in my car but i want to make sure i get the right kind of speakers that can handle a lot of bass and sound crisp and clean. I was looking into getting kicker speakers or alpine. I also looked into bose but i just don't wanna spend that much. Thanks so much for your help!
