How much is my guitar worth?

I have a 2007 alpine white Gibson les Paul studio, I originally paid $1000 for it with the case. Now the paint is slightly faded in some places and their are a couple small chips in the paint, I'm considering trading it in for a new one, how much should I try to sell it for?
