I looked at a lightbulb, got "flashies/floaties", now it won't go away and its growing?

It started as a flashing spot that wouldn't go away and its grown. It's obstructing like 25% of my vision now. This has been going on for at least 20 minutes its not normal. What is this and can I help it?
