12V Audio Amp running on 110v?

I want to run my Alpine 500.1 amp indoors on 110v. What kind of power supply can I use that will convert 110v to 12v and be able to handle that much current? The amp is rated at 500w RMS and 1000w maximum. If I purchased a 1200w PC power supply and used the 12v leads, would that work? Any other recommendations?
